Designing along the escarpment and the shore
Roseland's tree-lined streets, close to the lake, are full of well-built mid-century homes that just need editing rather than gutting — good ceiling height, real proportions, and a floor plan from an era before every house needed an open-concept great room. Our work there tends to be additions and thoughtful updates, not a full teardown-scale renovation.
Aldershot, toward the Hamilton line, is a mix of older bungalows and newer infill on the same streets, and it's usually the older homes that bring the real design problem: a boxy 1960s or '70s plan with a galley kitchen and three small, disconnected rooms that need to become one that a family actually gathers in.
Further north, Alton Village and the newer subdivisions bring the opposite issue — big, builder-finished spaces that read as generic until someone gives them a material story and a scale that fits the people living there. We work in Burlington from our Toronto base along the QEW, the same distance as our regular Oakville and Mississauga work.

Do you have a studio in Burlington?
No — we're based in Toronto and make the drive out to Halton Region for site visits, trade coordination, and installs.
Do you take on additions, or only interior renovations?
Both — a lot of our Roseland work is exactly this: an addition at the back of the house paired with reworking the existing main floor, coordinated with your architect and structural engineer.
Can you open up a boxy older floor plan?
Yes — it's one of the more common Aldershot and Burlington requests we get, usually turning a galley kitchen and two small rooms into one space the whole family actually uses.
Do you work in Aldershot and Roseland specifically?
Yes, along with Alton Village and the rest of Burlington — those areas make up most of our Halton Region work outside Oakville.
