Designing for the city
Toronto rarely gives you a blank slate. Most of our work here starts with a building that has history in it — a post-war townhouse with low ceilings, a narrow Victorian semi, a downtown condo that needs to do five things in forty square metres. The work is coaxing light and proportion out of what is already there, not erasing it.
We design across the city and the wider GTA — Forest Hill, Rosedale, Yorkville, and well beyond — working alongside local architects, trades, and millworkers we have built with for years. From a full heritage renovation to the styling of a single living room, the studio stays on the project from the first site visit to the final handover.

Questions, answered
Do you work across the whole GTA?
Yes. Toronto is our home base, and we take projects across the Greater Toronto Area regularly. If you are a little further out, ask — we will be honest about whether we can do it well.
Can you take on a condo, or only whole houses?
Both. A well-resolved condo is some of the most rewarding work there is — every centimetre has to earn its place. We scope the engagement to the space, whether that is one room or an entire home.
Do you handle the renovation, or just the look?
We handle the build. On renovations we produce full construction documentation, coordinate with your architect and trades, and direct the work on site — so the finished space matches the drawings rather than drifting from them.
