Designing for the light
Los Angeles is a city you design with the doors open. The light is long and low, the line between inside and out is soft, and the best rooms here borrow from the garden, the terrace, the sky. We design for that — material palettes that hold up in strong sun, layouts that breathe, lighting that works as well at golden hour as at midnight.
Our LA work runs from private residences to hospitality — a fashion label's studio in Silver Lake, a boutique hotel in West Hollywood, homes across the Westside and the hills. We work with local artisans wherever we can, and we stay on site through build and install so the finished space holds the calm it was drawn with.

Where in LA do you work?
Across the city — West Hollywood, Silver Lake, the Westside, the hills, and out toward the coast. Los Angeles is one of our two home bases, so most of our US work happens here.
Do you design hotels and restaurants, or only homes?
Both. Hospitality is a real part of the studio — we have designed a boutique hotel and a working fashion studio in the city. Commercial work is designed to local code and coordinated with your operator and consultants.
Can you design indoor-outdoor and terrace spaces?
Gladly — it is one of the reasons we love working here. Terraces, courtyards, and the thresholds between them get the same attention as any interior room, with materials chosen to live outdoors.
