One direction, not a buffet of mood boards
A lot of studios hand you three concepts and let you pick. We don't. We bring one resolved direction — a palette, a material story, and the feeling the finished rooms should carry — and we argue for it. Three half-ideas waste your time and ours. One point of view, refined with you, makes a better house.
Materials you can hold
Screens lie about colour. So we put real samples in your hands and in your light: the actual stone for the island, the timber for the floor, the textile for the sofa, the metal for the handles. Stone that looked warm in a showroom can turn grey under a north-facing window. Better to find that out on a sample board than on a slab you've already paid for.
Getting the bones right
Concept is also where the layout gets tested. We block out rough plans — where walls move, how you get from the front door to the kitchen, whether a room can actually hold the table you want. Proportion is decided here, on paper, while it's still cheap to change. Move a wall at concept and it's a redraw. Move it on site and it's a week and a few thousand dollars.

How many concept directions will I see?
Usually one resolved direction, not a menu of three half-ideas. We'd rather commit to a point of view and refine it with you than hedge across several.
Can I change my mind after the concept is set?
Yes — that's exactly what this phase is for. Changing direction at concept is cheap; changing it during construction is not, so we push the big decisions early on purpose.
Do you work to a mood I already have?
Often. If you arrive with a clear reference, we build on it. If you don't, that's fine too — drawing the direction out of you is part of the job.
